NO, the puter does Not recognize the tablet, at all. It does
not recognize it if I plug in the power cable and the usb
cable on the tablet first, and then run the batch tool, it
does not recognize the tablet If I run the batch tool first
and then plug in the tablet. It does not recognize the
tablet. Windoze says it does not Recognize the device, not
that it is Unknown, it does not Recognize it, and I either
have to plug in the device or replace it. I have tried every
driver from every flashtool on every android site on the
internet, and Windoze does not recognize the tablet. I have
reloaded every device driver on my XP notebook. I have done
a factory reset of the tablet, NOTHING works. And all I get
out of Pipo is a recommendation to load the F***ing drivers
First. You think I ain't tried That???

NO, NO, NO!

You can stand on your head clinching a pitchfork between
your but cheeks and press all the buttons you want, this
P.O.CRAP tablet will not register in Win Xp. Not in rock
tools, not in supersport, not in device manager, not on a
dell notebook running Win Xp, not on a desktop running Xp Pro,
not on an Asus nb running Win 7, NO NOTHING WILL LOAD THE
DRIVERS FOR OR RECOGNIZE THIS PIECE OF C PIPO M9 Max RK3188
tablet.

You can check usb debugging, you can uncheck usb debugging,
you can stick a pin in its a*$ and hold reset while holding
esc, or power, or punch all three while whistling God Save
the F*ing King and this toilet paper holder of a tablet will not
register in Windoze.

I can keep uploading my responses to website after website
until Pipo addresses this issue.cherry cherry cherry

Well sounds like you have some issues with your tablet then. It could be your motherboard on your tablet. One last thing, do you see your tablet nan and sd card when you plug it in to your pc when your tablet is running and mtp is turned on for file transfer? if not I can say you need to contact who you bought the tablet from. I have had 2 pc's that will not take drivers, however I have never ran in to this issue. you can always contact PIPO as well tech support, not that it will do much good. This is a do it your self form. I have never herd of this, however there is always defective products out there.

I can see the computer from the tablet, across wifi, because xplorer loads the computer's directories, as a server, whether the usb is plugged in or not.
The pc, no matter what pc or Win os I use, will Not see the tablet, not under usb mass storage, not under mtp, not under camera.

I have a tablet with a bad usb port, and, since the wifi worked and the micro sd works, I assumed the usb would work, and did not discover the defect until I tried to upgrade the os. Pipo advised I load the drivers, first, like that helped, and they won't respond to my emails. Since I accepted the tablet and released payment before I discovered the defect, aliexpress doesn't even have any means for me to contact them, and this Schenzen company's agent where I bought it won't respond, cause they got what they wanted, my money, and have turned deaf.

My only choice is to start bad mouthing Pipo across every android site I can find, until they decide I've cost them more business than they'll lose by replacing this piece of crap tablet.

Do you know how I can manually upload an update.zip file to the sd card of the Pipo M9 and upgrade it via CWM?

there is no way to load cwm unless you are rooted. I was wonder it maybe stupid is your micro usb to usb cable fully working? I have tried another micro usb to usb on my tablet and it would not work at all, just got me thinking there maybe a problem with the cable, because mine detected but would not transfer data at all. Well your information is up and out so if anyone who reads the forms finds a way around it, we will find out.

After much head banging and haranguing against Pipo,
Schenzen Technology, LLC, AliExpress and Damn near anybody
to do with my Pipo Max M9 tablet,
I downloaded a Rom for the V1 (older) first version of the
Pipo M9. In the Instructions to this Rom for the OLD V1 Pipo
M9, there was this little gem of info
which stated that the usb OTG cable micro usb connector on
the OTG cable that came with the Pipo M9 was not long enough
to make a secure stable
connection to the pc from the standard usb service port on
the Pipo M9. No, I was not using the wrong Rom to upgrade my
tablet, I was using the WRONG
CABLE.

I had been using the micro-usb OTG cable with a standard
usb male to male extension. I long ago laid aside the
standard Micro usb to usb male cable,
figuring the OTG cable worked in every usb port in every
other tablet I owned or had used. Guess what, I WAS WRONG.
There is apparently a very miniscule
but very significant difference between the micro-usb
connectors on the usb OTG dongle and the long micro-usb to
standard male usb standard cable, that
came with the tablet.

So now I have to go back through several forums on which I
lambasted Pipo, et al, and 'splain my self, and eat a whole
five course meal of crow, which I will
happily do, now that I have successfully upgraded and rooted
my M9. Use the long std usb to micro usb cable on the std
usb port of the Pipo M9 to connect to the
PC and everything will go as detailed in the Rock Chip Tool.

As Roseanne Rosannadanna once said: NEVERMIND

My sincerest apologies to Pipo, Ms. Chen of Pipo support,
Ali Express and Schenzen Technology,  LLC:joker: jocolor
