install a browser for Roku 3 broken with newest firmware update

To browse the Internet with a built-in browser, you can't do it natively, which personally, for the simple brilliance of the Roku media device itself--this makes no sense. It is essential, and was a serious oversight by the company, but luckily, there is a way... without needing to root. You will however, have to enter Developer Mode and side-load an app to continue (it should not harm your device if done properly!).
1.Enter Developer Mode. The developer sequence is three presses of Home, two of up, right, left, right, left. Stop once this is done. Your Roku should now be in Developer Mode. Read and accept the agreement, then type your new password. Please write it down and make it simple, as you don't want to lock yourself out of your Roku, now or later. You will also need to remember or write your Roku's IP for future reference (if it is static).

2.Retrieve and install the Oversight browser. Find & download the Oversight browser for Roku on your computer . Do NOT unzip the file. It is zipped because this is the format the installer will accept later. Then, go to http:// followed by the IP in a new tab on your computer. Enter rokudev (or what is the default username on the box), followed by your password. Click Browse... and find Oversight. Wait for it to download to the Roku, then close Oversight when it is complete loading. Close the browser on your computer.
You're done! From this point forward, you now have a simple phone-like Internet browser installed on your Roku! One thing, however, is that the search and textboxes DO NOT work! You will need to make your own page (simple with Google Sites) and link to what you want in the future. The * key will allow you to enter a new address to go to once you select 'www', although using the Roku on-screen keyboard for entering URLs is atrocious

i followed your instructions exactly and uploaded the zip file. When i clicked install, i got the following message. ation Received: 290829 bytes stored. Install Failure: No manifest. Invalid package.
