PIPO M9 4.2.2 rooted with Multi User V2

Alright we got the Newest and freshest Rom out for the PIPO M9 4.2.2
This new rom is customized off the stock rom. Add to it is the multi User feature and it is rooted.
It has been debloated and it is a fast one.
Following previous flashing of the M9 use this Rom here

Remember all this is for version 2 of the PIPO not Version 1.



How to install

Requirements:

1.Rockchip Batch Tool v1.6 http://vitha.us/android/M9/Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.6.zip
2.Stock or Custom Firmware (in this case Custom Rom pre-rooted and debloated)
3.Windows PC
4.USB Cable

2. Initial setup

1.Extract the Batch Tool (RBT in the following) package. It includes the needed drivers too!
2.Extract the downloaded firmware image
3.Run RBT, and browse the image file in
4.If everything done right, you should see some info printed in the fields, like the current version of the firmware, Android, the board (RK30), etc

3. Installing device drivers

1.Press ESC key for a few seconds and then press reset at same time.
2.As Windows notices the new device, release the back button.
3.When asked for drivers, browse to the extracted RBT directory, select the directory "Drivers", and let Windows install the matching ones (if like on my computer Windows 8 64bit, I had to go to control panel then Devices and printers. You will see your unknown device and manually install drivers)
4.When finished, you should see one of the fields in RBT turn green from grey

4. Installing the new firmware

1.After plugging in the tablet, and the green field pops up on the bottom, press the "RESTORE" button
2.You should see the text Download firmware start. (this will format the whole nan, so backup your stuff before you do this)
3.If everything done right, you should see a message like this:
4.**********Upgrade Done Success<1> Fail<0> Timems**********
5.If it finished without a problem, the tablet should boot up immediately. And your see a restore and wait for restore to finish. Now it will boot up like normal. If not, just press the power button, and wait until it boots.

NOW YOU HAVE 4.2.2 with MULTI USER FEATURE & ROOTED!

I have a big trouble....When i open the APN list, it's empty! When i try to create a new APN, the procedure doesn't finish, it's impossible to save the new one, so the list remain empty. How can i do to solve?

are you trying it on a 3g? This is not for the 3g PIPO. The 3G PIPO has a different rom, due to the fact PCB board is different. If your trying to use a dongle with 3G, it has to be one of the supported 3g dongles

Yes, my pipo max M9 is a 3g built in. Well, is there a a Rom for my model? Have you created one? Can you report the link where i can download it??

Obviously i'm searching for a rooted Rom 4.2.2 for Pipo Max M9 with 3g built in.....

I miss read there is no custom M9 4.2.2 for 3G that has been rooted yet. You would have to download the newest 4.2.2 for 3G from Pipo and do root. If your unsure on trying to root your self. I will keep searching. The 3G for M9 is rare and I have not seen much talk on the 3G. I will keep my eyes open. newest stock rom is M9_3G_4.2.2_20130529

check this one Out 4.2.2 for M9 3G SuperXp999 . this rom is 4.2.2 with root made for the 3G
