1.Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 (do not try on LTE version).
2.Make sure you are using Windows PC.
3.Make sure devices drivers are installed on computer. You can use KIES for driver installation but disable KIES once the drivers are installed as it can disturb Odin.
4.Disable antivirus and firewall apps that can disturb Odin.
5.If your device storage is encrypted, this method will wipe your data. You can check this guide in order to create a backup of your Galaxy.
6.Download the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Rooting package (Filename: CF_AutoRoot_Port_T800_BeansTown106.tar.md5.zip). Click here for download
7.Download Odin3 v3.07 to your computer. Click here for Download

How To Root Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 non LTE

Step #1: Extract downloaded zip files into a folder.

Step #2: Ensure your Samsung Galaxy Tab S is disconnected from the computer.

Step #3: Turn off your device.

Step #4: Once the device is fully turned off, reboot into download mode by pressing and holding down volume down, home and power keys.

Step #5: Go to the place where you have extracted downloaded files and fire up Odin3-v3.07.exe file. Do not make any change in Odin, just ensure “re-partition is not checked”.

Step #6: Click on AP button in Odin and locate the CF_AutoRoot_Port_T800_BeansTown106.tar.md5 file that was downloaded above.

Step #7: Connect device to computer, when “ADDED” message appears in Odin, press “Start” button to start the installation.

Note: If you Odin does not show “ADDED” message, ensure drivers are installed properly.

Step #8: Let it do its trick! Confirm root.

Step #9: Reboot into recovery mode and confirm stock recovery presence.

Step #10: You are done. You can download and the install the root checker app from play store to make sure whether you are successful or not.
